forever his - special needs day camp

Forever His Day Camp is a day camp designed for children with special needs. Forever His Day Camp will be Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 9am - 12:30 pm for children Pre-K through 6th grade. We have given special consideration  and prepared for each "camper's" safety, medical needs, food sensitivities, bathroom/diapering needs, and mobility and sensory issues. There will be crafts, games, story time, food, and sensory stations available to fit each child's unique abilities. We want your child to be a part of this day designed especially for them. Space is limited so please register here by Wednesday, May 8th:

Complete the detailed registration page so we can know as much about your child as possible to help make their day the best day possible! After you submit your registration you will be contacted by the church to confirm everything and answer any questions you may have. To ensure your confidence in us, we want you to know that we will have trained volunteers known as “buddies” that will assist your child at camp. We will also have medical personnel on hand if any campers require medical attention. We will have proper bathroom and diapering stations, and follow your guidelines for dietary and medication needs. Your child will be in good hands and we will strive to make it the best day possible. For more information you can call the Creekside church of Christ office @ 903-455-3710 or email us at . We look forward to sharing this day with your child!

welcome bridges family!

Please join us in welcoming our new Family & Youth Minister, Sage Bridges, and his family. Here is a note from Sage:

Hello friends and family,

My name is Sage Bridges, and I am married to a beautiful woman named Alexis. We have a son named Carson who just turned one in February. For those of you who Alexis and I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting, we wanted to share a little bit about ourselves. We were converted to Christianity in the spring of 2013, and were married on June 7, 2014. Shortly after, we moved to Denver, Colorado, where we attended Bear Valley Bible Institute International. Upon graduating from school we moved to Prescott, Arizona, and began our work with the Mount Vernon church of Christ on January 1, 2017. Since then, I have recently accepted a position working with the Creekside church of Christ in Greenville, Texas as the Youth and Family Minister. My family and I are so excited to begin our work alongside a group of God’s children comprised of such wonderful individuals. We look forward to growing with them and becoming stronger servants for the cause of Christ.

Until all have heard,

Sage Bridges

our mission:

to love god with everything

Jesus is the reason for everything we do.  We sing, pray, commune, give, and preach in His Name. Our history and our future are centered on Him.  Our purpose on earth is to "do all in the name of the Lord Jesus (Colossians 3:17)."

Colossians 1:16-17 says (speaking of Jesus), "For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers.  All things were created through Him and for Him."

Above all else, our mission is to honor God the Father through Jesus the Son by the help of the Holy Spirit of God. Everything else depends on this.

Our worship:

START WHERE you are.

We are a community of Christians, but God is still working on each of us.  We still have imperfect lives, but we want Jesus to change our relationship with Him and with each other. Everybody is welcome here - whatever your story, your questions, doubts or struggles, if Jesus wants you (and He does!) then so do we.

We gather to worship because we have been loved by the Lord of heaven and earth. Through worship you will learn how much He loves you too! Please join us this Sunday!
